I know there’s always a red hot colour to opt into for fall, but seriously this year…we are talking red hot colour!

For those of you who haven’t considered this hue due to years of assuming red just isn’t your thing….here’s a heads up…there is a red for everyone – you just have to figure out which one.

If you have a deeper complexion with cool undertones, think about working the darker end of the spectrum – blue based reds and cool shades work best with your rich colouring. Steer clear of any bright reds as these look too harsh.

Medium skin tones on more bronze/olive based complexions have lucked out, and any red will do for you! To nail the right red look for cranberry shades and pink-based shades.

For lighter skin tones – if you have a peaches and cream kinda skintone look for coral reds if you are bordering on pink undertones, or matte reds with a hint of orange are a winner too. If you’re more of a yellow undertone chick go with a coral or brick red for a warmer vibe.

Once you have the colour figured out think short and sassy for the perfect red hot fall dress.
